2010 started with snow! Well that must be a good sign. (at least it means that global warming isn't such a problem as we all thought).

I looove this coat! it's so nice and warm. Perfect for weather like this, I feel like a little polar bear.

My mum and I both have been searching for the perfect Christmas pair, and this is what we've found.

I really like the Burberries, and I think my mum got feelings for the dragonflies. But who knows..

I'll draw some outfits with these for the next post! (hope it stops raining, so I can go outside and shoot my newest treasures).

I've to admit that my favorite program is James May's toy stories.
They made a house entirely out of Lego bricks...
Not only it's of course everyones dream to build something like this (it would be crazy and so much fun!)
But it became more like an art piece than a toy.

Unfortunately they had to demolish it, such a shame!

And of course you've to wear the right shoes in an house like that!
But how cool they might be, I wouldn't buy them myself. I more like elegance and shiny shoes.

Been chasing them at eBay for weeks now, no results. NOBODY WANTS TO SHIP TO EUROPE. It's so unfair. ):

My mum bought these amazing Prada boots 2 months ago, but somehow it's their debut on my blog...
I really love them, I wasn't that into this biker-boot thing. But these are still quite elegant and really go with everything.

(yes, that's my wall of shoes, I'm very proud! haha. But it's still quit empty. Good reason to buy more shoes.)

Ferry van der Nat gave this bustier to me. I'm really happy it's this deep purple I love.

I've been busy with my favorite dutch holiday all week! (Sint Nicolas, 5th of December)
I bought presents, wrote poems, it's a big festivity.

I posted this poncho a few weeks ago.

Here is how to make it!

1. You need mohair wool, use different colors and thicknesses, to give it a playful look.

2. Take the thickest needles you have, I used 12, the bigger the better.

(the scanner broke down, seems like no machine lives very long in this house...)

3. Don't knit too tight, just make it loose, with big wholes! (yes this time you may totally mess it up! :))

4. A square is just the base, if you know a better way of making a poncho, it's all possible. But not too much! Don't over do it.

I'm planning to make a little dress this way (: have fun with it!

I've been so busy with school that I haven't had the opportunity to look at my blog once!

Here's just a short post, I'm sorry. But my next post will be longer! and will include the DIY tutorials I promised!

We went to Maastricht last week, one of my favorite shops there is Kiki Niesten 2.
I tried on this amazing dress, I forgot the designer, but it was absolutely amazing. (do you see all the shoes behind me?!)

(sorry for the bad I-phone photo, I really love my I-phone and it's just so practical to always have a camera with you, but the quality isn't that good...)

It has been raining for days now, but I finaly managed to make some photos at a dry moment!
The light and the colours are magical now fall has come...

Inspired by Miu Miu and because of my love of all that shines I made these tights with autumn glitters.

I found these Marnis a few weeks ago while I was shopping with my mum (all shopping enventualy leads to shoe shopping :)) I totaly adore them! And they're a lot easier to walk on than they look, haha.

History has always been a great inspiration ad it will always be.

I found these amazing pictures in a book of the Kyoto costume institute.
I just had to show them, fashion was so much more back then, than it's now, just look at these pictures (I haven't got the time to scan them all in, so this is it for now, but I'll post more in time)
